The location is great, the auberge is in a village which feels very secluded because of the surrounding forest but is in reality perfectly placed as a staging post to or from southern France. "Room was fine , but staff a bit remote in communication ( which was only in French ) Dinner was very average and certainly not good value for money. So we have taken a different route and a different hotel on our journey back to the UK ."
