"Amazing location; on one side the beautiful Vezere River with a grassy promenade, on the other a short walk past two restaurants up to the main street, with a bakery on one side and the prehistory museum across the street. The house is charming; it is small but the rooms are spacious. We loved the private courtyard. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed. Plenty of hot water, plenty of towels. The hosts were extremely responsive to my questions. We felt fortunate to stay there....

"Great heated pool, easy walk into town for shops and restaurants. A good base for exploring this part of the Dordoigne and literally next door to the caves of Lascaux."

"Logement très spacieux, 3 chambres avec grand lits, terrasse sympathique, confort top. 2/3 points que nous avons regretté : - la privation de la télécommande de la télévision, ne nous permettant pas d'augmenter le volume (mon mari etait malentendant donc impossible pour lui de suivre les emissions), de surcroît sur le carnet de voyage envoyé, il y a bien 2 télécommandes.. - l'heure d'arrivée et de depart modifié sans nous en avoir informé : 1 heure de moins au depart, idem pour l'arrivée....

"Second time here and was not disappointed. Jean Marc and Sandrine are wonderful hosts. The house was still as perfect as a year ago and has all you need to enjoy your stay in the Dordogne. I doubt you’ll find a better place to stay locally. Don’t delay book it!"

"We loved the hotel! We had a separate bedroom for our daughter and plenty of room to spread out. As mentioned by others the parking garage available for a daily price is a few blocks away but overall not a huge inconvenience. We would definitely stay there again if in that area. "

"I’ve stayed here twice, my only issue with this properly is the code/pin entry to the building & rooms, as sometimes they fail you can’t get in. I arrived at 2pm, but the desk is technically open at 4pm. There is a machine outside to check you in if the desk is closed. 1st booking was direct & received the codes. 2nd time via Expedia my booking ref number didn’t work & we nearly had to wait, was almost stuck. Luckily a guy from outside let us in with his code & called Sabrina. Whom opened the desk, we paid our taxes and she gave us our codes. The reception isn’t open 24/7. Sabrina & her team were very friendly, warm & made a huge difference as the first time there was a lady (April 2024) who was unfriendly and unhelpful… I paid for a late check out but was told on my last day, you can’t have it as the hotel is full. No refund of the extra fee. Her favourite word was NO! I’m not a fan of the code/pin entry system because, the first time the codes failed (I booked 3 rooms) I couldn’t even get back into the hotel. Luckily a guest came back and held the door open. I would have been stuck outside it was around 9pm. The codes can also fail on the bedrooms, if you enter quickly after a short period of time, you just have to wait for a bit and re-enter and it should work. Location is great for me, rooms are basic, pillows are average, bed is comfortable. Shower pressure is very good. Parking is free which is amazing. All of this is reflected in the price."
