"Had a lovely week here. Chalet could do with some updating but it was fine as a base to explore the beautiful area. The swimming pool was great and we loved the remote location. It feels like you are miles from anywhere. Owner was very nice and very helpful."

"We spent a lovely holiday staying at Vincent and Emanuelle’s gite. The property is clean and comfortable and has everything you need. Our hosts were so welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The gite is located in a magical part of the Dordogne where there are new things to see and do around every corner, in fact the area is known as the golden triangle as it is so rich in beauty, and culture. There are no frills but the layout of the house was perfect for 2 families and it is spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you need. "We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."
