"Overall my 11 year old son and I had a good week in the SOWELL HOTELS Mont Blanc & Spa. The buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent with well-prepared food and plenty of choice. The room was comfortable and the staff very helpful. The main down-side is how worn and dated the room and all of the communal areas are. I'm not sure when it received it's 4* rating, but the property feels quite aged with bathroom furniture, doors and walls all very worn with visible damage."

"Really great friendly staff -rooms small but ok - food was very good. Location quiet but good links to slopes with new cable car link to St Gervais. Couple of decent restaurants in La Fayet but have to go to St Gervais for better choice. Think this little town will grow with new links etc. "

"Ski trip with my family. Stayed for 5 nights and found it very convenient for Saint Gervais ski and eateries. Hotel is in a quiet location too so slept well. Only real issue was that the bar wasn’t open We’d and Thurs during our stay. Reception staff were very good. "

"Exactly as advertised. Very comfortable and a short walk away from Saint Gervais town Square. Lots of restaurant choices and places to rent skis. From where we rented our skis in the town Square we hopped on the town’s free bus that took us over to the Saint Gervais upper gondola,, easy peasy. At the end of the day, we rode the bus back to the town Square where we stored our skis for the night. We skied both San Gervais and Maev with ease. Check in and check out with easy, communication with the owner was in French, nothing Google translate can’t solve. Note: the hot tub is not in the complex. It is in the town’s thermal spa that you must walk or ride the bus to. Great value in a super cute French ski town. Highly recommend."

"The property was perfect for our group of three as we could all have separate rooms. The place is cosy but spacious enough for a few more people as long as you’re not too tall!It was spotlessly clean and whilst we didn’t cook in the property the kitchen has all the necessary items to make catering straightforward. Laura was really responsive and helpful to any questions. The locations is great, a short walk to the main lift up to Bettex. Would definitely stay here again. "
