"We thought this place was wonderful. The living/dining room was well appointed and the kitchen had everything we needed. There is a balcony looking over the ruins of the nunnery and the town. Bed and bath were very nice, and I appreciated the washer. Caroline was helpful, and brought peaches from her garden: delicious. One caveat: 2nd floor means "climb 2 long flights of stairs"."

"This was our second time staying at the apartment. It is well located - easy walking distance to E. Leclerc supermarket and to the Wednesday and Saturday markets where you can buy cheeses, fresh produce, nougat, etc. Great location for visiting Sorge, Monbazillac , etc. About an hour’s drive to Sarlat. Very good communication with hosts- you may need to use Google translate if your French is limited. Great value for the location and amenities. An older apartment. We would stay again."

"We were a little confused about the number of bedrooms, listing details said two bedrooms. There was only the one seperate bedroom with a double bed and a travel cot. The Sofa bed was in the lounge area. It was not a problem for us but could be if you really need two seperate bedrooms. "I absolutely loved this apt. and the old city of Perigueux! Everything I needed and all the activities were within a 2 to 15 minute walk - post office, grocery store, walking tours, bakeries, restaurants, everything! I have stayed in several VRBO rentals over the years, and Francis is, by far, the best host I have ever met! He is so caring, attentive and helpful, and can’t do enough for you. He communicated regularly to be sure everything was okay with my stay. It was a wonderful month’s stay....

"This was a lovely old house from another era, an adorable private garden and situated at the quiet end of a lovely village. Could use some renovation and a more modern kitchen, if you were going to stay longer than a few days, but was fine for our short stay. Mr. Tixier was available just around the corner and by phone at a moment's notice which we really appreciated. He was responsive and nice--the things you need when travelling, as we were, in another country :) "
