"We needed a no agenda break in our ten week drive around Italy and France. This was a perfect place. A few minutes walk to the sea with trails along the coast, short drives from your dedicated parking space to stores and other small businesses. Communication with the owner was excellent. And he even called from Senegal where he was on vacation. His representative, Mme Pavillard, was kind, helpful and accommodating, looking after us even when her husband was in the hospital. The only negatives are the narrow steep stairs to the loft bedroom with it's very low ceiling beams. Watch your head. We highly recommend this apartment. "

"Second stay in two weeks. Friendly staff. Excellent, copious food in Restanques. Relaxing surroundings with great views. Family room (accept) had super sea views. Saturday breakfasts can be busy with the odd slip up such as cold scrambled eggs. "

"The house is as beautiful as in the pics, and the entire process was professional and smooth. The only thing to be aware of is that there's no air conditioning in the living room/kitchen and in 2 of the bedrooms. The living room is fine - when you open the house there is a lovely breeze from the ocean that keeps you mostly cool. But as we were there in late July/early August, the lack of A/C in 2 bedrooms was an unpleasant surprise. I've still rated the house 5 stars though - just set your expectations accordingly!"

"This apartment is located just above the Port of Madrague....if you love walking, everything is in distance. Stunning coastal walks along the cliffs. Beautiful harbours. Beaches.. lovely restaurants and bars. The views from it are stunning and you can see for miles in all directions. It ticks all the boxes. Merci Michel."

"Once an elegant property, is now very tired and dated. Its badged up as BW on the marketing material, however there is no sign of BW on the entrance, nor is it up to BW normal standards. The property is in need of immediate upgrading. Now the positives: The staff were all amazing and could not do enough. The pool is excellent. Room 234 has a fantastic balcony, with all day sun and fantastic sea/mountain views. (Definitely worth paying the premium price for) The shabby chic feel is very attractive in the reception, dining area and main lobby, The rooms however are not so. After speaking with one member of staff i was made aware that BW had only owned the property for 6 months and had "Grand plans", which included a conference centre, health spa, full upgrade of all the rooms etc, which, is needed, but i hope not at the determent of the lobby's interior. "
