The apartment was well equipped and it was ideal for one or two people, but though it claimed to be for 4, two couples would have found it very uncomfortable, with one couple in the double bed and the second couple inches away on the sofa bed. "We enjoyed our stay overall. The place was clean and quiet at night, the swimming pools were good. The accom was clean and facilities provided were good (incl cleaning kit). Good car parking available and a pleasant stroll to the Port through the golf course and lake. However, there are several important areas requiring improvement: - Air conditioning does not exist. We had to leave the door and windows fully open at night which is unfair. While air con may be expensive to install, P&V should...

"The location is perfect and the staff very pleasant and accommodating. Internet access is very fluid. One small improvement could be made in re. the kitchen cleaning supplies/bathroom supplies, too limited for a stay longer than a week. But overall very pleasant stay. Thank you!"

"We enjoyed our week's stay on this lovely island. The accommodation was very good value for the price paid. We were given a house actually meant to accomodate 5-6 people so we had plenty of room plus a small yard area with garden furniture. It was well-equipped generally although we did find the mattresses on the beds were a bit thin and so not as comfortable as we would have liked - but then after a busy day walking and exploring we slept well anyway! "Petit séjour de 3 nuits hors saison, donc beaucoup de commerces fermés, mais sinon les alentours sont très beaux ! J'ai adoré la ville de Château d'Oléron ! Nous y retournerons ! "Erholsam, ruhig. Das Haus passt gut für 4 Personen und ist schön eingerichtet. Tolle Terrasse und schöner Garten! Lage super für Radtouren, mit dem Rad sind es nur wenige Minuten zu einem der schönsten Strände der Insel. Die Kommunikation mit der Besitzerin und der Verwalterin hat bestens geklappt. Die Sauberkeit liess etwas zu wünschen übrig, da die Vormieter putzen. Aber dafür kann ja die Besitzerin nichts. "

"It was a great location good cheap buses to town every 15 minutes . Lots of nice food right there . The room we had with a third bed for child - the room was way too small for this and hot and stuffy , ok as a double - not ok as a family room . No air con so very hot in heat wave but at least nice opening window .downstairs and pool area very nice …pay for a balcony I should have it would have been much better . "
