"Very welcoming host who was always available for help or advice if needed, but left us to enjoy the property by ourselves. The kitchen is really well supplied! Several reviews mention this, and it’s true. Also plenty of plates, glasses and cutlery which isn’t always the case. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent facilities. Locally, we probably weren’t very adventurous with restaurants etc, but we did use the excellent nearby tram service into Orléans. It’s affordable and runs every 20 mins....

"A lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. Furnished and equipped to a high standard. The beds were comfortable and everywhere was clean. Guy was very helpful regarding some local information and considerate for our comfort. The location was perfect for exploring Chambord . We highly recommend this cottage and would love to return."
