Guy was very helpful regarding some local information and considerate for our comfort. The location was perfect for exploring Chambord . We highly recommend this cottage and would love to return."

"Very welcoming host who was always available for help or advice if needed, but left us to enjoy the property by ourselves. The kitchen is really well supplied! Several reviews mention this, and it’s true. Also plenty of plates, glasses and cutlery which isn’t always the case. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent facilities. Locally, we probably weren’t very adventurous with restaurants etc, but we did use the excellent nearby tram service into Orléans. It’s affordable and runs every 20 mins....

On s'y sent bien, comme chez soi, et l'espace y est très appréciable. L'accueil est très agréable. Pour finir, le cadre est également très plaisant puisque situé dans l'enceinte du château et de sa ferme. Idéal !"

"The Odalys was perfectly situated for our stay as we were based at the ice rink which is only 1 street away. The room was pleasant, the bed relatively comfortable although only one pillow each. The self catering facilities were adequate for our needs, however there was only one drinking glass and the table was very wobbly. Overall it was good, and was what we expected for the price: no frills, clean accommodation."
