"Expedia for some reason quoted the price for 85 when I was checking out it was 116 USD! So vheck the price carefully before you book! The hotel itself was a bit old considering it is key accessed, the rooms are a bit old in terms of doors and furniture, yet the balcony on the pool is nice and the food is good. "My staying was so good that I didn’t want to leave ! Everything was perfect the reception staff were really helpful and the guest relations ladies were so nice and friendly. The hotel is full with options either in the dining services or entertainment! Definitely will come again !!"

"The property is nice. It’s a nice 3.5-4 star resort. Staff here is excellent and incredibly friendly. Beach is a lagoon to ocean. Dinning was good. Area around hotel is ok. It’s about 5 mins to Hurghada main city."

"This was an awesome trip and experience .. literally. Everything about Robinson Soma Bay is just perfect .. not only that I can't think of anything that was not up to standard or something .. but I truly can't think of anything for them to improve on! "Our room was in need of renovation. New Year's Eve was chaotic, we had to run for so long with plates on our hands for us and the kids to a huge buffet. In the end we didn't eat anything. The worst thing was that we all got gastroenteritis. It must have been the food or the water there. The hotel does not offer any excursions. There is only one cab driver there who wants to rip off the guests. Stay away better frm these kind of hotels."

"The hotel is very clean and well maintained to a high standard. All of the staff are very polite and went the extra mile to make your stay that bit more enjoyable. Everything I had at the restaurants are on the lines of a 5 Star restaurant, so I was completely surprised by the standards, I enjoyed every single meal I had! "Listen, this resort is amazing!!! We were sooo impressed with everything. The food options and the quality of the food is phenomenal and there is always something you will find to enjoy. The only thing we weren’t crazy about was the far walk from our room. "This property is on the beach with somewhat old sunbeds but the beach is kept clean. Those who complain of hotels with same old same old menu, they need to stay at this resort. Those you like Eat as much as you like, Giftun is a heaven sent resort. Truly amazing place to spend a vacation."

"Fantastic location on the marina, close to all bars and restaurants, shops, boats, yachts etc. The Hotel Manager and all staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean, towels changed daily. I highly recommend this hotel."

"What a great stay we’ve had a Prima Life Makadi Bay. The hotel amenities are excellent – an array of swimming pools and direct access to a private beach with an amazing reef just offshore. My partner isn’t a confident swimmer so she preferred to stay on the shore-side of the reef which is in-depth for most adults. On the other side of the reef the water is much deeper and the coral and fish even more spectacular. Our room was well-appointed with a balcony, comfortable bed, and very considerate touches like a kettle, mini fridge and ever a drying line in the bathroom. Beach towels are provided in your room and are enormous. Everything was just so well thought-out. Food was great with a huge variety of choice at every sitting. Most of all the team members were so welcoming, attentive and warm. Special mention to Mahmood the pasta / omelette chef and the lady who bakes in the bread oven"
