"The home was a great location for visiting the Ark. only a 6 minute drive. However, the Creation Museum was about 45 minutes away. The home is old but full of character. Plenty of room for the 12 of us. Could’ve used some extra blankets for sleeping. It was a cold, rainy weekend, so it was chilly inside. Our host, Peter, was very responsive to our questions and gave thorough instructions for our stay. "

"I was here with a group of friends for 1 night for a bourbon distillery trip. We were here for buffalo trace. The property is well located and close to lots of stuff. That said, it's up on a hill that sits right next to a busy road. It's a very small space with a small kitchen that adjoins the only bathroom which is honestly a very tight squeeze with the washer and dryer sitting right in front of the door and the door opening out. "We enjoyed both the location and the place. Nice view of sunsets and sunrises. Even had some sheep in the back yard. House was clean and well equipped. We read the entrance code wrong and texted the owner and he was there in less than 5 minutes. We highly recommend this place. Owners are very friendly. "

"We had a great stay. We needed to make sure that we had a recliner as we were traveling with a handicapped guest that cannot lay flat and uses oxygen. So they accomodated us. There was alot of trains that passed, but those same trains would be heard in all rentals close to town. We were very pleased with our stay and the extra supplies were greatly appreciated."

"If you're going to the Bourbon Trail and dont want to stay in Louisville or Lexington, this house is an excellent choice. 10 minutes to food options in Frankfurt and close to quite a few distilleries. House is close to the road so traffic was a little noisy but not terrible. House is a little older but was perfect for what we needed. We had a small issue upon check-in which Nathan handled immediately after a quick phone call and a couple texts. Would definitely stay again!"
