"I am so thankful that I found My Happy Place when searching for a place for my mom and I to stay. We both so appreciated Sherry's hospitality and loved her creative decorating. Pleasant, spacious and carefully tended, this cottage is tucked amid quiet, rolling green hills. The privacy and peaceful countryside was such a blessing. Being close to the Ark was ideal."

"Paula is the hostess with the mostest. She has a great eye for detail and is very knowledgeable about her guests needs. "Loved the location, the peacefulness and privacy. Had everything we needed, even had the extremely friendly dogs and cat visiting. Wild turkeys in the back, deer along the little road to the home. If we go back to the Ark we will definately stay here again."

"The house was even better than the pictures! The game room area was perfect for our family, even though it was in the 20-30’s outside they had overhead heaters to warm ya up! The bunk-beds were a huge hit for the kids. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could need and then some! They had shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathrooms - which was a great surprise!!We will definitely stay here again when we come visit family. "

It's beautiful, quiet, interesting (horses get walk by, graze in the grass at the back of the house, etc.). In general, it was a unique and wonderful experience. "

"Our stay was fabulous!! The cabin was stocked with all the essentials including soap, shampoo, all the pots and pans, fresh bags, and paper towels. It was very clean and worked well for our family of 4. We were able to cook dinner there and save money on eating out. We went fishing in the lake, but didn’t see anything or catch anything. If you are visiting the ark or creation museum, I highly recommend staying here! One down fall would be the highway being so close and the helicopter landing pad...
