"This was such a wonderful place to stay. The view from the balcony are amazing, as are the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. The kitchen was also well stocked with supplies, which really came in handy, and I liked the German novel left by someone in the room. "The place reminds me of a speakeasy. The entrance is right on the strip across from the beach. You entry through an unassuming door and immediately step into a different place. It was super nice and very convenient to the beach, groceries and the national park. I used the host to help book our excursions and I feel like I got better deals than booking them myself. "

"The area was beautiful, but although it says 13 minute walk to the national park, it's actually a 13 minute drive. Not a big deal but just in preparation. The owners were super nice, the restaurants that we could walk to were very good. Just a beautiful area I would highly recommend"

"We loved this little spot! It was a great place to land after our flight. Very close to downtown Alajuela, which meant that we could walk out our door in the morning and find a nice cafe and good food at the Central Market. Our only challenge was that the traffic was quite loud overnight; my partner had a hard time sleeping, even with the provided earplugs. I recommend this location for sure for heavy sleepers."

"We had issue getting into the place at first but it was solved pretty quickly. There's a guard 24/7 at the gate. It is within walking distance of the mall and restaurants. The kids have individual room and they have their own bathroom. We rented a but we also did a lot of walking around the area when we just wanted to grab something to eat or go to the mall. "
