"We loved everything about our stay at Marketa's. She answered the phone immediately when we called twice to discuss our planned check in time. She greeted us warmly when we arrived and took time to show us all around the house. "Between the massive pouf, the couch and two recliners, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect spot to crash before and after running the Victoria marathon. It was an easy and predictable drive into downtown, a straight shot on the freeway, and right by Butchart gardens. Highly recommend. "

"Sprawling property with lots of eclectic fixtures. A walk around elicits one “wow” after another. The carriage house was lovely, very cozy, we used the hot tub on the deck every evening. Kitchen well equipped for most cooking, having pantry items available if needed was great. Bed on main floor very comfortable, but room was missing a door. Second bedroom upstairs lovely as well, but requires a firm resolve and a good sense of flexibility to access it via the spiral staircase. Fancy bidet...

"There was a very annoying high pitch sound coming from the bathroom fan. Having to wait until 9:00 for the smoking area on the 6th floor to be opened was annoying. And then it was not opened until after 9:30 when I finally went to reception to request that it be unlocked. I could not find a hair dryer which is basic amenity in most places. Staff was very kind and helpful."
