"First and foremost, the location was the main draw. Right near the heart of downtown. Apartment located above owner's restaurant. The Wifi was not accessible. I solely used the room to sleep, so it wasn't a huge deal. The walk from Amsterdam Centraal was LONG (~30 min), so use the public transit. The view from the room was nothing to write home about. "It was RIDICULOUS to have this space on VRBO and not make it clear you would have to rent towels and sheets to stay comfortably. Added at least $125 to our stay for 5 people. Also be aware that an UBER from Amsterdam centrale will run you $50 USD and both times they got lost. Walk from Europarc to train platform is 30 min and then a quick 10 min train to the city. This would be a nice stay if you had a car and needed some quiet time…but be aware that the airport must be nearby with the number...

"We enjoyed our short stay and the scenery. Felt like home away from home. Looking forward to sharing our experience with our friends and coming back with them."

"It is a beautiful, modern, and clean chalet. The location is perfect if one wants to visit the city of Amsterdam. Please note that you must rent the towels for seven dollars per set. Also, we needed to make a special arrangement for check-in after 5:00 PM. It was somewhat noisy since the chalet appeared to be close to an airport. It was a convenient and cozy place to stay."

"We loved our stay here- accodomations were perfect for 9 people, location was great to do days trips around the Netherlands but then come back to the peacefulness of the farm. Watching the cows walk back and forth to the barn was a highlight of our stay. Marga was very gracious and provided any assistance we asked for."

"This is the place to stay if you have a family. Kids will love this place and the best part a huge mall and access to tram. You are basically in the middle of it all. We have stayed here for a week but will be a frequent visitor. The people are friendly and very keen to serving you. There is no other place that delivers on comfort, access, and ease of stay! Also great eatery near by including some Michelin reviewed! "

"Loved Bob W. Stunning apartment complex, really good location - only a few stops on the bus to Amsterdam Centraal. The bus stop is right around the corner not even 2 minutes walk. I loved the little touches in the room like the stickers, the tote bag and the lil Polaroid camera that you can use and keep the pics (not the camera ofc so don’t pinch it 😉). Micro Hotel Happiness

"citizenM Amsterdam South is a unique chain of hotels with a micro footprint focus. Each room has an "open" show and toilet area in the main bedroom, partitioned by a glass tube and or curtain, which takes some getting used to. The staff is stellar, I enjoyed when they called us guest "citizens". The lobby feels akin to a hostel, in that its very communal, even with the likes of business workers. Its affordable and in a good location. Watch out for all the bikes!"

"It's a lovely place with elegant rooms but most importantly, some very professional staff supporting our stay. The spa facilities were immaculate and really added to our winter break. Only gripe on this recent occasion was that our check-in was delayed, but the offers of free drinks and looking after our luggage meant that it wasn't such an issue so no stars are dropped."

"I loved the technology from the ipad room control, the automatic sign in and key making, superb lift system, and all the fittings were great. My only criticism is the free coffee system on each floor ( not in the room) was a bit difficult to get right and two mornings there was no milk cartons on my floor. "
