"Although Hotels.com cancelled my reservation from the hotel instead of showing me as a no-show for late check-in, hotel staff was extremely helpful for finding a solution at the spot. I might not have a place to stay if it wasn't for their incredible kindness to offer me one of the available rooms. I'm terribly sorry that I forgot her name but If i remember correctly Mariana(The hotel manager) is one of the nicest people you can find around Amsterdam. Thanks to her and other crew members for their kindness and helpfullness. In addition you can rent a bike from the hotel also, so that was a great plus for me. "It's a lovely place with elegant rooms but most importantly, some very professional staff supporting our stay. The spa facilities were immaculate and really added to our winter break. Only gripe on this recent occasion was that our check-in was delayed, but the offers of free drinks and looking after our luggage meant that it wasn't such an issue so no stars are dropped."
