" This was a perfect location for two old guys from separate parts of the country to meet up and go to our alma mater at Northern Michigan University. The house/cottage is lovely and serene. We initially had some problems with the app that the customer Person resolved, and we were able to get in touch with our host, who was great. I highly recommend this to those who value fresh air, located right on Lake Superior "

"I booked the house for the Marji Gesick mountain bike race. I had five friends travel with me as a support crew. The house was excellent for our needs. Plenty of beds and 1.5 bathrooms. A well stocked and large kitchen and plenty of living space. Outdoors was a nice grill, screened in house on the lake and a canoe. I caught a pike right off the dock Friday! "This place was amazing with the water on both sides. It offered something for everyone in our group kyaking, fishing, bonfires. Parking was a bit tight as we had four trucks and trailers with side by sides but we were able to make it work. We had a wonderful time riding the trails during the day and hanging out playing cards and sitting around the campfire at night. Would love to come back during the summer and again next fall. a great hangout spot "

"Lovely, peaceful setting, very relaxing. Close to attractions in Munising. Comfortable. Must read owners' description very literally. I.e., ""stove top" means range top, no oven; "TV" means tv and VCR, no cable or broadcast access. (We did enjoy some of the old VHS and DVDs provided). Better directions to house would have helped especially after dark. We'd rent this location again."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this very comfortable, private cottage in the woods. The cabin was well stocked with everything to make for an enjoyable stay to relax, cook, and spend time outdoors. The owner was a great communicator, the cabin exceeded our expectations and the location was great to explore the Munising area, Pictured Rocks, Grand Island and many hiking trails. I would highly recommend this cabin for up to 6 people. "

"Had a great experience and is a beautiful location. It’s just remote enough for privacy but close enough to multiple activities and sightseeing spots. Well maintained, clean, and easy communication with the owners. We even saw fresh water jellyfish in the lake; don’t worry they don’t stink and are only the size of a quarter, completely harmless. Campfires by the lake at night were a perfect way to end the day. "

"We enjoyed our fall getaway at this cabin! Beautiful views of Lake Superior from all over the property. Location was perfect - we explored Marquette, Pictured Rocks, and went on a few good hikes. The cabin is rustic but appointed well, cozy, and very clean. Bonus: we had big waves and were able to see the northern lights during our stay!"
