"Cabin was very clean and cozy. Perfect size for our family of 3 adults. Dirt roads surrounding property were a little challenging, especially considering all the recent rain. Glad we took the truck! Enjoyed the small quiet lake and watching the geese, swans and loons. Very peaceful. Also had fun with the kayaks. Would definitely stay here again if we come back around. Loved it!"

"This was the perfect spot for our hiking at Pictured Rocks. Chapel Falls trail was about 40 minutes away. Everything was clean, beds were comfy, kitchen had everything we needed. There was a small store across the street for any last minute staples you might need including beer and ice. Also across the street is a Kayak rental business with short or long trips down the river or if you want to go out into the lake. Lake Superior and the beach is a short 2 block walk from the house. "The place is remote, use the directions provided by the host! But once you get there it is beautiful, quiet, and serene. Hot tub was perfect after hiking. Cabin was very well stocked with supplies. But bring your own food and drinks because getting from town to back is time consuming. That being said, there is plenty to do in the area if you plan accordingly!"

"I loved this house with the beautiful lake right out the back. We kayaked and fished and enjoyed seeing a loon, swans, and geese. Bring your bug spray because the mosquitoes and flies are serious in the summer. My only complaint was that it was located farther from Munising than I thought and there were some roads that were super sandy & rutted (and very wet the day it rained a ton) that I was glad we had 4-wheel drive vehicle. Otherwise this home is clean, modern, and gorgeous for a family...

"This is a great spot if you want a quiet place. Its not fancy but was the perfect spot for us! Close enough to town and all of the sights, but far away from the busy downtown. Do yourself a favor and visit Buckhorn lounge and restaurant."

"This cozy cabin is incredible!! My dog and I came up for a trail running excursion and I couldn’t sing my praises of this place more. It’s quiet and peaceful, the sauna with a cold plunge in Lake Superior is epic and I was lucky enough to catch the northern lights on a big rock in the lake. There are a ton of amazing hiking trails and a few waterfalls close by, and the restaurant right down the road is great! I would absolutely love to return!"
