"The doors are very noisy, the kitchen is very loud when they make the breakfast, Batter stay on the second floor, if you don't want to hear the guests walking very loudly , But the interior design is pretty nice . They have a nice Chines restaurant near by . "

"The room is spacious, clean and beautifully appointed. The hosts were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The property is away from the main road, so it’s quiet, but it’s still a walkable distance to the main attractions. It’s uphill to the bus stop and the attractions, but the host will pick up and deliver your luggage to and from the bus stop. They were really nice."

"Location is ideal being one with nature. We rented a car so locating the property wasn’t hard. Average hotel. Our room can fit 5 futons. Bathroom size is spacious though the amenities, overall is average. We enjoyed our one night stay. Breakfast is sufficient. "

"日本語版で表示される名前と地図だと上手く表示されないが、「明園温泉別荘」で検索するとヒットします。とても親切なホテルで、ご主人は簡単な英語は話せます。内風呂でゆったりできるのはとてもありがたい。シャワーもお湯が出ます。温泉街の入口にあるため、老街や源泉などへは坂をのぼっていくことになるので、温泉街を見る場合はバスで頂上まで行き、そこからおりてくる方が楽。"

"The homestay is situated right on the main road up to Alishan, had comfortable rooms and delicious fresh breakfast. The best part, though, was the owners Dany and Dora who got in touch a few days before our stay with information regarding getting there and made arrangements accordingly. If you are going by public transport, they offer to pick you up too! Dora was extremely helpful and helped me book my bus tickets to Taipei as the website was in Chinese. "The room and property are very clean and comfortable. I can watch sunset at the balcony of my room, just regret that I did not bring red wine. It is a very nice place for retreat. Remember to request soya milk from the owner for breakfast, it is home-made with heart, it is the best soya milk I ever had."
