"A lovely 3 night Stay in Hay on Wye. The cottage is stunning and so well located for browsing the shops, the sights and the castle and perfect to pop back and forth if needed. "Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size."

"We only had a weekend, but it was a charming property set in wonderful grounds. We had a lovely welcome. Its a very old buildings dating back to the 15th century, so it was quirky which added to its charm. "

"One of the quietest places we have stayed. All worked as described. 8 or 9 minutes walk from town centre. We only used two bedrooms, but would strongly recommend E.g for a family with a granny."

"Lovely stay at the bungalow. Three friends on a singing weekend nearby. It was very well equipped, clean and peaceful. A drainer rack for the sink would be useful and the mattresses were a little ‘tired’. Nevertheless it was great for us and we would stay there again."

"Accurate to description, great communication from host, perfect for our needs. Lots of information available for guests. Great shower! Loved seeing the cows from the bathroom window. Many thanks to our hosts!"

"Lovely big house and setting for the family, just a couple of things which would have made it 5* could do with a few more chairs in the living room especially if you have 6 adults or teenagers with you. The floorboards upstairs were a little noisy. No electric kettle or toaster. Overall the house was clean and had most things we needed for our family holiday. "

"Property was so cosy and clean. The views were to die for. Extremely remote snd lovely and quiet but not too far to be able to drive to certain places. Thankfully the owner of the property made our stay work after the booking agent hadnt informed her we were coming as she had no knowledge we were booked in."
