"Ideal family base for our show at Utilita Arena and shopping at Metro Centre. 10-15 mins away by car. Cosy wee house at decent price. Would definitely book here again for myself, partner and 3 kids. "

"The house is clean in the main areas that you need i.e. clean sheets and towels. However, it needs a good deep clean between the gaps of the couch, 'stuff' under the foot stool when moved, mold near the hand basin, bubbling above shower, dishes/cutlery needing a good wash. A fan in summer would have been helpful and had to chase the host for check-in details. Photos are better than what is actually is and could do with some maintenance and tlc."

"We found the property clean but lacking, certainly not "Superb". The decor was sparse e.g. bare light bulbs. Negatives Bathroom: no mirror, no towel rails, only one hand towel in the property for three. Kitchen: Two sets of knives & forks for three, no large glasses or wine glasses, no fire blanket/extinguisher, no downstairs smoke alarm I could spot. "Our stay was very good. All rooms are clean and tidy and very comfortable. The only problem was kitchen. Unfortunately the cleanliness was not great. Any cup, plate or pan we wanted to use had to be washed before it could be used. Otherwise we were happy with everything else. There was a problem with heating when we arrived but it has been quickly resolved by maintenance engineer."

"Beautiful property and house along the Seaham coast. Great location! Place was clean and inviting. "

"Water was leaking in two of the three rooms from the ceiling onto the beds and along the walls of the rooms. We were able to use only one of the three rooms. Our host informed us of the problem per e-mail at about 7PM but we were unaware of that message as we were driving. Upon late arrival at about 11:00PM we were informed of a leak in one of the rooms but soon discovered that water was dripping onto the bed in the second bedroom.
