"Nice layout for our group of five. Water toys were fun. Upstairs kitchen was well stocked for cooking and had essential spices. Clean and very tastefully decorated."

"Stayed here with family and friends for my son’s wedding in the area. House was very clean and in a great area. Owner has the home very well appointed with all the necessities, appliances and kitchen equipment you may need. We didn’t get much time to enjoy the external property but it was well kept and expansive. You can tell the owners care about their guests having a nice relaxing time when staying at the house. "

"Our family of 5 adults and a 2 year old had a great getaway at this Lake Lida property. Our intention was to spend some time fishing but we ended up enjoying the property and lake so much we didn’t get to the fishing. We will plan to stay a few more days next time. Property has many of the essentials for preparing meals both inside and outside."

"Very nice home. large and spacious. The grounds outside were great. used the fire pit several times. what was really nice it was so quiet and peaceful outside. lake was beautiful. Only problem was with my fishing boat. to launch the boat it was a very steep place to go down to the water. the area to go down was covered by small rocks. I their welcome binder they recommended to have a four wheel drive pickup to put a boat in. Plus we were told by a neighbor that the lake froze out two winters...

"Very clean, decently appointed. We were there for a family gathering at my sisters so didn’t need to spend much time which turned out to be good. There is not much beyond the dwelling. The place was very clean and comfortable. However the smell from the well water was pretty over powering. While there was a keurig machine, it would have been nice to have coffee cups available at the property. Overall it served our purpose."

"For the most part, everything you would need was available. We were a little disappointed about no hot tub or fire pit but we managed. It is a steep driveway so pulling our boat in and out was challenging but doable. The views and yard were perfect! It does get warm in the loft, so bring a fan. The ceiling fans didn’t work nor did about two-thirds of the lights. It was really nice having the guest house if traveling with older children. The boat dock is super close also. Thank you"

"It is a beautiful home and had all the space we wanted. However be aware that the windows are not operable so you cannot open them. The AC worked fine, but we missed the fresh air. Our biggest issue is that we were mislead by the ad. When it said "cottage available to rent for extra sleeping space" we did not realize it meant it was a totally separate property that would be rented if we didn't rent it. It was an uncomfortable surprise for both parties. We were each led to believe the entire...

"We enjoyed unseasonably Warm fall weather hiking Maplewood state park and loved sitting outside on this gorgeous lake front cottage. The sunsets did not disappoint!"
