The home is in a beautiful setting in the woods where we saw deer wander through the yard. Jack was very flexible to accommodate a late check out. "

The location was right on Ottertail Lake, with beautiful sunsets that I'm sure are even more lovely when it's not frozen. The home was well-appointed with wood-burning and gas fireplaces, comfortable couches and beds (some very low to the ground), and stylish furnishings. The large upstairs and smaller downstairs kitchens came in handy for making a big meal. And we enjoyed playing...

"This home was such a blessing to us! While visiting Battle Lake for our grandmothers funeral, this home was our family retreat and certainly provided what we needed. We had a great time around the fire pit, we enjoyed the lake, played games in the large backyard and watched a magnificent storm over the lake from the enclosed porch. The 4 bedrooms provided adequate places for rest, the kitchen had everything we needed to host family meals and we even had a visit from the neighborhood dog, Chief!...
