"We stayed for 1 night en route to Cefalu. It's quite off the beaten track with some windy roads. Our room was clean and tidy, basic but spacious with air conditioning! However, we asked for some food as we arrived in the evening, and whilst the small plates of tapas were enjoyable, the Manager proceeded to charge us €15 each (€30 total) for some ham, tomato and mozzarella, bread, aubergine and a bottle of water. "The house was lovely and the weather (in Oct) wonderful - temperatures of 25/30 deg C all week! The sliding windows made it easy to step out and enjoy the outside space. "We stayed for 9 nights at the end of July 2024 and had a lovely time. The accommodation is great and large enough for a family of 9 (teens +). The host is brilliant and personally met us despite arriving at midnight. A car is needed to get to any amenities, but within a few minutes drive there are plenty of restaurants and the beaches are fabulous. Recommend a visit and boat trip from Cefalu."

"Property located adjacent to very old olive tree orchard. Scenic mountain back drop with ocean view. Spacious upstairs flat with full amenities. Beautiful pool and garden in the yard. Private driveway. Only 2 cons, must have rental car because located in a hard to access part of Trabia, roads are difficult to navigate. And property owners speak very little English, so just plan to use google translate. Highly recommend if you are looking for the real Sicilian experience!"
