"We stayed for 1 night en route to Cefalu. It's quite off the beaten track with some windy roads. Our room was clean and tidy, basic but spacious with air conditioning! However, we asked for some food as we arrived in the evening, and whilst the small plates of tapas were enjoyable, the Manager proceeded to charge us €15 each (€30 total) for some ham, tomato and mozzarella, bread, aubergine and a bottle of water. "We were an adult family group of n Sicily for the first time and Villa Consiglio was the perfect place to explore from. The Villa, pool and its many terraces enjoy views towards Palermo and Cefalu which could be easily reached by car or train. The villa was quiet and away from the centre but just a few minutes to the town by car. The owners went to great lengths to welcome us and Carlo was always available to deal with any questions, to guide us to the villa and run us to the train station....

"The area is beautifully wooded, the garden is in great condition, the swimming pool is well-kept and clean. The garden has direct access to a several-kilometer-long beach. Great service from the owners. Fantastic place. I was here for the third time. If I come to Sicily again, I will definitely come there. I highly recommend it. "
