"We stayed for 1 night en route to Cefalu. It's quite off the beaten track with some windy roads. Our room was clean and tidy, basic but spacious with air conditioning! However, we asked for some food as we arrived in the evening, and whilst the small plates of tapas were enjoyable, the Manager proceeded to charge us €15 each (€30 total) for some ham, tomato and mozzarella, bread, aubergine and a bottle of water. "Property located adjacent to very old olive tree orchard. Scenic mountain back drop with ocean view. Spacious upstairs flat with full amenities. Beautiful pool and garden in the yard. Private driveway. Only 2 cons, must have rental car because located in a hard to access part of Trabia, roads are difficult to navigate. And property owners speak very little English, so just plan to use google translate. Highly recommend if you are looking for the real Sicilian experience!"
