The villa is just beautiful, in a very quiet site, standing since the 1700.. very clean and well maintained, lovely antic furniture and curious objects, absolutely stunning. Wonderful stay in Tuscany

"Lovely property, rural but not too far from amenities. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the villa and travelled to several of the UNESCO towns and villages throughout Tuscany from this location. Pietro and his wife were lovely and, even though the language was a bit of a barrier, we got by and had a laugh with them. Lots of biting bugs this time of year, nothing to do with the villa though, we were getting bitten at restaurants etc too. Lovely stay and we can’t wait to go back, probably for a tour of Umbria or Liguria next."

Gorgeous setting and amazing pool

"The villa had an excellent layout for families traveling together with amazing views of the countryside and mountains, and was within walking distance to a lovely family-owned osteria and short drive to local food stores. The large pool was fantastic. Our host Barbara was lovely, answered all our questions promptly and made check-in and check-out very easy. The only negative was that the advertised hot tub was completely non-functional during the week of our stay, but Barbara did her best to bring an electrician to try to service the unit and provided a small gift for the inconvenience. All other amenities were available and we were impressed with the cleanliness. Every room in the entire villa has its own ductless AC for the hot summer days. We highly recommend this villa to any large group traveling together. "

"As advertised. Clean villa, good location for visiting the major medieval hill towns. Lucignano lacks good restaurants. The house needs to add fans. The hostess- provided (for a fee) dinner in the villa was great! Friendly host. Wifi works well."

"First of all the place is beautiful, easy to get to, and the house is awesome! The house has great features. They have thought of everything. I took my family to northern Italy for a 10 day vacation and this was my favorite VRBO. The owner was great. He was so helpful. He gave us directions to the best restaurant in the area. Actually it was my favorite in all of Italy. I wanted to stay more at this location, but we had an aggressive schedule. When I go back to Italy I want to stay here. I give this place a 10+."
