"It is a vintage hotel with wood, leather, and an old-school vibe; it is well-maintained and has just enough modern touches/updates. It offers a great bourbon/whisk(e)y selection in an intimate bar setting. Sam is a great bartender! We stayed just the night for a nearby event and had a great southern breakfast before leaving the next morning. Highly recommended!"

"We had a great stay at La Quinta in Boone, NC. The hotel is nice and the suite was great since we were traveling with our teenage son. The free breakfast was excellent and they even had gluten free options. The hot tub was excellent too! "

"The woman at the front desk (Nita?) was wonderful—friendly and gave us info on dining options in the area that were quite helpful. Shampoo container in the shower was filled with conditioner, as was the conditioner container—not good— and the Kleenex had only a few tissues in it"

"The stay was amazing! The view was fantastic and the room was perfect size! The lodge had all of the amenities one could ask for! The on-site spa and restaurant were amazing, the pool and the hot tub were amazing. Only complain I would have were the pillows. My wife and I went for a couple day getaway from our kids. The bed and everything was amazing, the pillows were those long tube-like pillows. In order to sleep well, we had to double up the pillows. Other than that, the stay was fantastic."

"Needed a room for a nights stay. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful! They did accidentally give me the wrong room but quickly got me fixed and apologized for the inconvenience. Was very happy with my stay!"
