"Great hotel. I may continue to use them in the future if they are available in my travel destination locales. Basic amenities are always available at the ground floor. Staff was friendly. Onsen was practical, but most importantly, it has an outdoor ONSEN. I only wonder if the women's ONSEN is designed differently, as they don't switch the onsen's on different days. If I did have a single complaint, it would be that they only provide (1) pillow per bed, and that the design of the pillow may not be for everyone. It's the type where the edges of the pillow have a thicker fluff anf firmness, and then towards the center of the pillow, there is a dip/concavity. I struggled to find a comfortable pillow rotation for me. Again, that's my only personal issue with the stay. "

"The outside of the buildings looked a little old, but inside, it was very clean and very comfortable with an impressive amount of helpful appliances for food and temperature/humidity comfort. The shower and bedroom were particularly nice. I would have given this hotel a perfect 5 star rating, but unfortunately the bedroom window (Room #7) faced a separate residential house that had many very loud and annoying dogs that barked every day from 6am to 12pm without stopping. It was very hard to get sleep because of this. It's not the hotel's fault, but people staying in Room #7 should be aware of this. Also, it is a 15 minute to the nearest bus stop."

"Our stay was reasonably comfortable, except for a few small factors: 1. It’s a shame that they allow smoking in the rooms because we are non-smokers and smoke particles cannot be completely eradicated from the room even with a room humidifier and spray fragrance. So we could not be as comfortable as we normally would be had it been a non-smoking room. My request to the property is to create more non-smoking rooms to be available or completely eradicate smoking rooms, period! Because smokers can easily go outside the door and have a smoke. There’s no reason to smoke it up where they eat and sleep! 2. The fan in the bathroom is on 24 hours a day. When its the dead of winter and you’re freezing. It’s a very freezing cold shower if you wish to conserve hot water and not let the water running while you soap up. Then you have that fan running blowing cold air into the shower room. My request to the property is to change the fan so it can be operated by a switch. I know they want to cut down on the mold factor but for goodness sakes, part of the housekeeping job is to clean the shower and if they do that after every check out, there won’t be a chance for mold to grow. So no reason to have the fan on 24 hours a day without a switch to turn it off by the guests!! PLEASE DO BETTER! Robert Speaker"

"Our stay was great. Checkin was easy just use the machine add your details and get code of the room. Room was good, we had view of Shinkansen and trains. Breakfast was delicious we loved it and again checkout was easy. Cheerful and helpful staff, clean hotel and delicious healthy breakfast. Thank you hotel Sun!!!"

Front desk nice and polite and the area is very close to restaurants and shops. Clean rooms, clean bathrooms and convenient laundry room inside the hotel. I will stay again. "
