"We had an amazing weekend at John's farmhouse. The old farmhouse has so much character and the antiques were just wonderful. Watching the sunrise every morning come over the mountain was just amazing. If you are looking to get away to a place that's quiet, peaceful and tranquil then you need to stay at John's. The creek runs through the property and is a lovely walk. We will definitely be coming back. "

The ponds were frozen when we were there so we could not fish, but we really enjoyed target shooting and walking through the snowy trails. "Our daughter was getting married at a vineyard nearby. The location of our rental was only 3 mi away. The whole house was spotless and comfortable! Our oldest children came from all over the country and it made the occasion doubly special to be able to stay together. The kitchen is well equipped for us to make a huge meal. "This was our second trip to Luray, first was about 6 years ago. The location is just where we wanted to be, in the country. Lots of Deer and Turkey were just next door and the Skyline Drive was only a few miles away, so riding my motorcycle to and from was a piece of cake. The house has everything you need and was so relaxing we didn't want to leave. I can't say enough about this property and we can't wait to come back!!"

"We were in town for a wedding weekend and found this charming farmhouse and were immediately hooked! Our stay was great, the house was exactly what we were looking for and we really enjoyed the beautiful sunrises and watching the cows in the fields.
