"This was a fully automated check in with a machine booth on the property frontage you checked into with photo ID ( we used passports) to obtain door codes. Worked well. Little niggle - We elected to spend more and have a canal view room. Should have been wonderful but the canal was being extensively renovated over several years and was a building site! Will be wonderful when completed. "

"Shower drain not draining. HVAC system needs maintenance per msg. Part of shade in small bathroom missing. Pillows very minimal. Explanations on the heat zones for future guests would be good idea. Enjoyed all the Rooms. "

"My kids and I fell in love with Riverview Retreat. I wanted a place to spend Thanksgiving with my daughter as she's in Baltimore for the next two years (we're in TX). I wanted something out of the city and Anapolis rentals were sold out. I expanded my search, found Riverview Retreat, and am so glad I did. "I chose this property based on the "Rooms & Beds" large type in the listing, since we were bringing 4 grandchildren ages 10-16 who don't like to sleep with each other. Two days before we were to arrive, I reviewed the entire listing, and opened up the small "see more" at the bottom of the listing, only to find that the bed listing there was totally different for 2 of the 4 bedrooms. "Property was perfect for our weekend stay in Georgetown / DC area! Apartment was clean and exactly what we needed. Small kitchen fit our needs. Numerous restaurants, coffee shops and retail shopping within walking distance. No parking avail on property but across the street was a convenient parking garage. Will definitely stay here again. "
