"The home was clean and well stocked, though the tap water has a strong sulfur smell so bring some bottled water if that would bother you. There are squirrels making a home in the eaves and will chatter territorially while you sit on the deck, but they're cute.... noisy but cute. We had hoped to be somewhere near the lake, but the close by lake front areas were privately owned so there were no lake views nor lake access for walks along the shore. Kayaks were available but the canal was uninviting...

"We stayed in cottage #1 on the water. It was perfect for 4 friends. Plenty of room, nice outdoor seating, beautifully lit up outside. There was a large fire pit. We were next door to the Ferry. A fun free ride to Bemus Point. We didn’t have a boat but we enjoyed the dock. A short walk to a lovely ice cream shop, a convenience store,a produce stand, & a walking trail."

"Overall we were really happy with our stay! Clean interior, quiet neighborhood and all the essentials were provided. Wegmans grocery store is very close as well as plenty of local restaurants. The host was incredibly responsive which I really appreciated! Just an FYI: there is no direct lake view from the property other than between the houses across the street but it's easily within walking distance. This was a perfect property for a quiet, relaxing get away."

"We enjoyed our stay. The house is very clean, and centrally located. We like to prepare breakfast at home, and were very impressed with the well appointed kitchen. Sharp knives, lots of utensils particularly! The bed was comfy and Hulu is one of our favorite streaming stations. Our host was responsive although we encountered no problems.
