"The home was clean and well stocked, though the tap water has a strong sulfur smell so bring some bottled water if that would bother you. There are squirrels making a home in the eaves and will chatter territorially while you sit on the deck, but they're cute.... noisy but cute. We had hoped to be somewhere near the lake, but the close by lake front areas were privately owned so there were no lake views nor lake access for walks along the shore. Kayaks were available but the canal was uninviting...

The host goes out of their way for renters to have a great experience providing basic needs that others almost never provide. "We enjoyed our stay. The house is very clean, and centrally located. We like to prepare breakfast at home, and were very impressed with the well appointed kitchen. Sharp knives, lots of utensils particularly! The bed was comfy and Hulu is one of our favorite streaming stations. Our host was responsive although we encountered no problems. "This cottage was perfect for our stay in Erie. Good location, convenient to get to Presque Isle, and places to eat. Nice area and quiet. We spent most of our time out and about during the day, and this was ideal for being able to cook our breakfasts and dinners , etc. It was everything that we needed including washer and dryer, comfortable bed, well stocked with spices, coffee filters, and bathroom products. We would stay here again if we found ourselves in the Erie area!"
