"The property itself is amazing. You could spend a few days just exploring the grounds and orchard. It's secluded enough where you can leave the world behind if you want to, but there is plenty do eat and do within a short drive. There is a fabulous bakery and also an amazing restaurant within a few minutes drive. The property owners and hosts, Jose and Christine, are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. They were always available to answer every silly question I had, and were invaluable...

"Beautiful home set in the hills with no visual neighbours. Everything you need for a relaxing stay. Big covered veranda, big rooms help make this a great family home. It has no A/C but it really wasn't needed due to its location and lots of surrounding trees. The hot water is on and off a bit but it was warm. The host is very responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Just loved it."

"This is a wonderful little house on top of a hill. The view is breathtaking. It's a curvy road to get here but it's definitely worth it. We cooked dinner in the spacious kitchen (for such a small house) looking out at the mountains. The appliances are modern and functional. The place is modern, well decorated and relaxing. The deck is a nice place to sit and read a book. There is a fire pit and wood was provided. We relaxed for a few hours in the hot tub and cooked some steak in the gas grill....

"Nelly is a gem! She is so full of hospitality and kindness that I don’t think I will ever find an equal. The home was very spacious, clean and super convenient for shopping and eating. I will definitely be looking forward to another vacation and staying there! By the way, she also makes the BEST sangria I’ve ever had. Wish I could have brought some home!"

"The place is right across from tide pools which were perfect for little kids and adults alike - 1 minute west, the beach was awesome for kiteboarding - lots of surf and great winds. The pool is awesome for all ages. There’s a couple restaurants down the road that serve awesome deep fried goodness and a wal mart 10 min away for grocery pick up. I HIGHLY recommend the Frances Marie Bakery down the road for breakfast … or lunch or all day really… pastries are good for you. If you head like 20...

"Our family booked this house and wanted to share some info in case you decide to book. Here are a few things to note: There is not a hot tub, you have to provide your own toilet paper, the WiFi does not work (despite confirming a week before arrival that it would work), air conditioning is in bedrooms only, but did not work in one of the bedrooms, house is between two run down homes, one of which has at least four dogs living there that bark all night, and house is on a busy street. "The property is well taken care of and spacious. Had everything I needed. There are issues that are not within the Host's control. For example, it is right in front of a main road with no buffer between the road and the driveway so pulling your car in and out can be a challenge. This also means there's a lot of noise coming from the road so keep that in mind if your main goal is to rest. On the plus side, it's not hard to find and you have stuff nearby. "

"Angel worked us in on a same-day booking and met with us at 9:00pm for check and was truly a holiday life-saver (thanks to a different VRBO booking never responding on check in). Nice amenities and right next to ocean (more surfing spot rather than swimming, but pool was nice as well). With more times notice and some updates, this place could easily be 5 star. Again, super thanks to Angel for the last-minute accomodations."
