"We returned to the cottage after our first stay last year because it was so lovely and comfortable. This time we also used the cottage next door for our grandchildren, who absolutely loved it. The cottage itself is in a great rural location but nevertheless only 10 mins drive from a supermarket and Freshwater Bay if you need a takeaway or food. It's also just a quarter of a mile from a bus-stop to Newport in one direction and Yarmouth in the other (if you don't have a car) so therefore ideal...

"Absolutely wonderful. Not a detail missed and many that I never would have thought of found. Probably the best equipped self-catering spot we’ve stayed at. Nice lounge with large flat screen TV, lovely dining table, big heavy drapes throughout, great collection of books to sift through (Including quite a few on Stonehenge). Very close (at least by car) to Salisbury Cathedral and Stonehenge, easy to find."

"The cottage is beautiful and cozy and the grounds are lovely. We walked out of the front gate and directly across the lane into the forest shared with horses. When we drove into the property when we first arrived, we were greeted by about 40 beautiful deer. The location is awesome with a short walk to an old cozy lovely pub and a bit longer walk into Lyndhurst and the forest entrance right across the lane. It was so peaceful and quiet. We did a lot of cooking and the cottage had everything...

"Very cosy and warm with everything you need."

"Good communication in advance of arrival, though more clarity on parking may have helped. Unit next to ours had a very loud barking dog which woke us up on a Sunday at 7am unfortunately… and triggered our dog to bark. The walls are quite thin for noise to travel in/out. Aside from that, it was a really great studio with all one would need! It is on a working farm but whilst that means potential activity outside the door, it also means great green-space and farm animals to enjoy as well!!"

"On the edge of the New Forest. The house was picturesque and a good size for large families. We all really enjoyed our stay. (11 of us). Great location, 20 minutes away from Bournemouth, Burley etc. Would recommend this property. "

"Had a lovely stay here. Beautiful location, close to the beach and the forest. Cottage was warm and cosy, loved the fire. Kitchen has everything you need. Beds were super comfy. Thank you. Would be even better with a hot tub in the garden! "
