"We fit a lot in during our 4 day stay! A trip to Bandon to enjoy the ocean, wine tasting at Cooper Ridge and Knostman Family Winery, and waterfalls. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub each night. The house was nicely decorated and met all of our needs! We walked the neighborhood and spent time at the river. Abby was spot on with her communication. We highly recommend booking a stay at the Monroe River House!"

"We planned a trip to Cottage Grove to do some cycling with friends. We did a total of 3 rides, one starting in Cottage Grove on a route to see the covered bridges. It was awesome.The home is situated across a road from Cottage Grove Lake. "Cute tiny house on an absolutely lovely, serene forested hillside. Really close to town, all things considered - about 20 minutes from the hospital where I was working for the month! The one downside that is only an issue with more extended stays like mine - the compost toilet did get a tad smelly as the weeks went by. Not to an unbearable degree but just a small caveat to the five stars! "

"Great spot to stay for close access to fishing and other mountain sports. I noticed many white water rafters. The property is also close to Roseburg and the many wineries in the valley. Very clean and owner great people. Have a nice bar on property and there was small band playing Friday night."

While we were there, Roseburg experienced a substantial amount of rain that caused flooding and road closures. Renee ensured that we were able to leave the property safely by driving ahead of us to make sure that it was passable.
