"We fit a lot in during our 4 day stay! A trip to Bandon to enjoy the ocean, wine tasting at Cooper Ridge and Knostman Family Winery, and waterfalls. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub each night. The house was nicely decorated and met all of our needs! We walked the neighborhood and spent time at the river. Abby was spot on with her communication. We highly recommend booking a stay at the Monroe River House!"

"We planned a trip to Cottage Grove to do some cycling with friends. We did a total of 3 rides, one starting in Cottage Grove on a route to see the covered bridges. It was awesome.The home is situated across a road from Cottage Grove Lake. The front porch with gas fireplace was located facing the lake, which made for a beautiful and peaceful view of the lake, especially in the morning as the fog receded from the lake.The sauna was nice. "Usually staying near or in the mountains nets you with a long drive to go get anything let the bar combined with the deli across the street makes it really easy to stock up on food or just get general necessities without having to hop in your car."

"This was such a relaxing 2 days! The home is fully stocked with blankets, towels, cleaning, kitchen has NICE cookware, real plates utensils, silverware etc. Most common condiments are in frig and sugar flower etc under cupboard. Nice to light a fire, it was my first and great instructions with supplies all that is needed is there but paper products packaging plates and bags are great to help start the fire. "Cute tiny house on an absolutely lovely, serene forested hillside. Really close to town, all things considered - about 20 minutes from the hospital where I was working for the month! The one downside that is only an issue with more extended stays like mine - the compost toilet did get a tad smelly as the weeks went by. Not to an unbearable degree but just a small caveat to the five stars! "

"The property was great! If it is just 2 people, its a great place. The post says 2 cots and an air mattress. When we arrived... we couldn't find the cots, there was not any bedding for the air mattress or the pull out sofa. There was 1 pillow, but no case for it. We found a comforter and ended up wwashing it in the shower. If you're going tobstay here, i would bring your own bedding. Other than that, the place was beautiful. The lake was amazing and the hosts were great. "
