"My wife and I stayed at the Elms for a one night stay as a birthday treat. The hotel is a beautiful building set in pretty park grounds. There was ample parking. Check-in staff were brilliant! Very friendly and professional. The gentleman helped us carry our luggage to the top floor which could be a bit of a hike for less mobile people or someone who struggles with stairs. "Although we arrived later than anticipated the staff could not have been more helpful. The polite young man on duty showed us to our room and explained everything we needed to know. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, having everything we needed for our stay, including a comfortable bed. Our evening meal was excellent, with a varied menu to choose from. Breakfast likewise was very good. We cannot speak too highly of the inn."
