"This was a great place to stay for two nights when visiting Cardiff to watch the rugby with family. We had two apartments; they were brilliantly located, extremely functional and clean - which is exactly what we needed them to be. Luxury apartments they are not - and the price was very high because it was an international match weekend. But I’d definitely recommend as a base to stay and hang out. "

"The Quay apartments are very good once inside. Well presented equipped, warm with a great TV, bed and shower. There's a couple of handy shops adjacent to the building which is very convenient. Initially finding the property and parking was tricky as no obvious signage. "Was a lovely enjoyable stay , place was spacious more than adequate and clean . The only disappointment we had was the very strong smell of smoke and weed in the corridors outside level two . "Good location and under a 25min walk into the city centra. Roomy one bed apartment with good sized rooms throughout. Safe environment within a gated community with security on site. Affordable and secure parking. Room heating was too hot; controls not very responsive - please check! Also, bathroom towel rail though it carried a warming notice is far too hot!"

"The studio flat was excellent with a well equipped kitchen and it was all very clean. The "host" Kathryn was excellent at communicating with me - I had a couple of queries and she was VERY responsive and helpful."

"Everything was fine - except that it was freezing cold in the bathroom. The storage heater could have been put on for an hour or so before my arrival. As it was the room was so cold! And if I kept it on at night, the noise of the thing going on and off kept me awake. So - a little more thought could be given to how to deal with that for comfort's sake."

Great hotel, great experience.

"Absolutely fantastic experience! The location couldn’t be better. The hotel is directly next to the train station and right at the edge of town. We asked if we could check our bags with them, but they allowed us to check into our room early instead. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and despite being right by the train tracks, the rooms were well sound proofed. We loved having bunk beds for our kids. Such a great use of space, and they loved having their own reading lights. The breakfast was great and every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. If we’re ever back in Cardiff, we will stay there again."

Great stay

"Building is undergoing roof works so is covered in scaffolding - however no interruptions and inside was an oasis of calm. Staff across all departments were exemplary and the room was comfortable bright and well appointed - food in the restaurant was excellent in the evening and breakfast to excellent with plenty of options"
