"This was a shared guest house but everyone was very private. I never met another person although I heard people leaving. I would stay here again. The house and the view from the second floor was historically nice."

"Charming but rustic farm property with outbuildings. Eclectic, NOT fancy. Very clean, not manicured. This is like staying at a real farm. "

"Shower drain not draining. HVAC system needs maintenance per msg. Part of shade in small bathroom missing. Pillows very minimal. Explanations on the heat zones for future guests would be good idea. Enjoyed all the Rooms. "

"The property is 3 levels with spiral staircases. 1) Downstairs "livingroom" area with sofas and TV. Washer/dryer also located there. We didn't spend much time in this room since there was no bathroom on that level 2) Second floor has the queen bed (comfy), kitchen and bathroom. This is where we spent 95% of our time. "My friends and I had an excellent stay at this property, it was the perfect size for 3 adults and very quaint and private. I will say that the listing says that it is 8.8 miles from Leesburg VA (which is where my friends and I were visiting) but that is not entirely accurate- there IS a ferry you can take across that maybe makes that number true but if you are an out of towner and are planning on just driving GPS style it ACTUALLY takes about 25-30 minutes to drive into town. "The room design could give tips to cruise ships. It was tiny! The room was as wide as the king bed was long. It was clean and well designed. Know your roommate well because the toilet and shower aren’t really what I would consider private. They have a lot of comfortable common areas to encourage guests to mingle. Close to metro and within walking distance to the Capitol. Friendly staff. No laundry facilities on site, but ironing board room available. "
