"This place is a perfect base to explore Reims . We parked in the car park upstairs , outside for free ( there is underground parking on site too ) The room was nice , overlooking the river .. from the hotel it’s walkable to the Cathedral quarter ( 10/12mins stroll ) and there’s a wealth of restaurant choices and bars there . This seemed a very walkable and safe city and the Mercure is a nice easy , cost effective hotel to use as a base for a visit . "

"When we arrived we had t checked about parking( our fault I just assumed we could) but their car park was full and the receptionist kindly let us stay in one of the disabled spots as we were leaving by 10 am. I was very grateful for this after a long drive. She mentioned roof boxes are a problem as the car parks are all underground.. otherwise lovely stay on our way back from skiing. "
