"Good clean comfortable room. Check in was a bit difficult as it is done over the phone and the guy was a bit stroppy. Apart from that room was pleasant, easy access and free parking was great."

"Lovely guest house in a quiet area but still close to York city centre. The room was cosy with a comfortable bed. We had teas and coffees, both with decaf, a mini fridge with milks, water and butter, a selection of cakes and scones and a bowl of fruit. Alex also left a book of useful information and places to visit in York. We also requested an early check in and to leave our car at the guest house on our last day past our check out time which Alex kindly agreed. In short we thoroughly enjoyed...

"Lovely place and nice environment. Good service, excellent breakfast. Paul and Jill are fabulous hosts. My son already asking me that we need to book The Limes again for our next trip if we come to Visit York again. "

"Avoid this place! Rooms were dirty there was mould all over the bathroom couple of weed smokers were in other rooms and it smelled disgusting we didn’t even spend more than 20 minutes there and they didn’t give a refund. "

"Perfect location just a short bus ride into York. Jack & Ellie are the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Tea & coffee facilities available in the room which was very comfortable. Breakfast is a help yourself but Jack is on hand if you need anything. Fresh fruit and yogurts, cereals, juice etc are available. Jack recommended places to eat, which were absolutely spot on. Food in all recommended places was excellent. This is a little gem of a place to stay, while not in the city centre...

"What a stunning house! Tasteful and elegant decor throughout with homely features. Adele is the perfect host; attentive yet not overbearing and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious and couldn’t be faulted. The room was spotless with plenty of refreshments and little treats left for us to enjoy. We will definitely come back and highly recommend it. "The room was clean and comfortable. Yea and coffee provided. Plenty of space to get ready. Bed was comfortable. We had been out drinking and was a late night the morning after I asked if we could extend our check out time the request was accepted at no extra cost. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone."

"This property is very run down and dangerous Inside of the property were people who were clearly there because they were homeless and had no where else to go . Above the toilet is the houses combi boiler which is dangerous. No television in the room, building work going on inside of the property and the WiFi code that does not work . So to summarise this really isn’t accommodation for people wanting travel accommodation but a place where homeless people are given temporary accommodation. ...

"This was a lovely stay in a nice peaceful location and very easy to find. I would suggest it would be a stretch for 6 people but for a couple or family with 2-3 kids it would be perfect especially if the kids needed separate rooms. Hosts were great with very good communication throughout. Definitely would return again. Hosts were love"
