"A clean and comfortable unit located in a nice avenue close to the Turangi centre. The only problem was despite free wifi being connected it was next to impossible to get any streamed apps or even free to view channels and the internet in general. Have encountered this at other motels in the district so it's probably a regional issue but sure;y hosts can find a solution?"

"I booked the king suite because I wanted to use the outdoor soaking tub. It was divine after a long day of travel. The water was very hot. The tubs are not private - you can be seen from the parking lot and the sidewalk on the public street - so I had to use it with my swimsuit on. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. The furnishings inside the studio are a bit tired. For example, the couch seems like something you would find at IKEA and is not built for commercial use. There...

"Tokaanu public hot pools just a short walk away, plus the Lodge has its own hot pools. Turangi a very short drive away with supermarket and plenty of restaurants. Conveniently placed to visit Tongariro National Park. The manager was very understanding when we cut short our stay due to poor weather and only charged us for the days we were there. The room was clean and well fitted out, if a little dated in style."

"We stayed here for two nights, before and after our Tongariro Crossing trip. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Check in and communication was straightforward. The ear plugs left on the table came in handy as the property is located next to a fairly busy road and trucks transporting cars stop and do their driver change-over next to it. Also the carpet in the room could do with a refresh as it does not smell very nice."
