"Romora Bay Resort & Marina is a little tired. Our original room was #6 we had to move because the rooms had carpenter ants and was very dirty. It looks like the rooms have not been cleaned in weeks. (Dusty, old dead insects and a smelled very musty and wet) The bed was comfortable and after we moved into room #8 we were happier with the extra space. "This well cared for property is a big house divided into several units. If you don’t mind interacting with other travelers/vacationers….and hearing everything they do, “Trela Sands” is a decent home base for exploring Eleuthera. While clean and well-appointed, we found the 1 bedroom front unit claustrophobic and not private. It’s too bad the second floor of the house isn’t the part with more units, think we may have had a different experience on the top floor. Not for a romantic getaway. Good...

"My husband and I spend a month every winter on the island of Eleuthera and always stay in the rainbow bay area. This year we chose Sugar Apple.and absolutely loved it. The house is lovely and super comfortable... the views of the Atlantic are breathtaking, especially while relaxing by the pool. There are so many beaches and places to visit in the area. The location was perfect for awesome sightseeing and then to come home after exploring all day......make dinner and watch the cruise ships...
