"Visited with partner and her parents. The road is rough, as with most roads off of the highway on Eleuthera. The house is beautifully minimal, but has the essentials that you need. The view from the house is breathtakingly beautiful, and the visceral experience down at the beach is humbling in the best way possible and in a way that I do not think can be re-created anywhere else."

"Purple Papaya checked off all of our boxes. It was clean, with a pool, and the view, my God, the view. Everyday we walked on the beach, got in the ocean, got in the pool only to take another walk during the sunset. Watching the sunrise was life changing!! Only God could create something so beautiful and Purple Papaya provided that for us!!"

"Loved the local Whale Point Beach, turtles galore and some fun fishing from the kayaks! Beautiful view of the Atlantic from the house, and easy walk to the calmer, turquoise water. The kayaks are nice and really made this place for us with the easy access to Bottom Harbor. Pittman's Cove for conch salad with local island vibe and Daddy Joe's for toasted coconut pina coladas were our favorites. We found the digital guide the owner provided very helpful. "

"Our stay was amazing...how can it not be at Harbour Island. I do think it could be clearer that the queen bed is not in the upstairs master bedroom. My husband and I decided to stay downstairs in the guest room simply to have a queen size bed instead of a double bed. Our door was a leaver door with slats that didn't lock so not a lot of privacy. "The cottage is very comfortable and well equiped, had to be put in service just recently. Everything was great except the wifi hotspot device was not consistent. I would recomment the owner gets Starlink like other folks on the island. The electric fireplace doesn't work consistently too, it keeps shutting off every few minutes, but it was not that cold that it was a problematic."

The house is lovely and super comfortable... the views of the Atlantic are breathtaking, especially while relaxing by the pool. There are so many beaches and places to visit in the area.
