"The front staff person upon check in was very polite, professional, and helpful. The hotel is nicely set up. The lobby and breakfast area is cozy and welcoming. Location is very convenient to Hearst Castle. We got in late so we didn’t walk around but there are restaurants within walking distance. It was a small disappointment that the fireplace in our room didn’t work. We did not bring this to the attention of staff upon checking in because we were just too tired. The room was otherwise clean and the beds were super comfy. "

"The Motel was decorated with a car theme and was so cute. We were greeted with cookies and a toy car for each traveler! Quick, easy check in. The rooms were clean and large. Staff was friendly and accommodating, even filling up our water bottles with ice. In the morning, there was coffee, instant oatmeal, breads and fruits. There was an indoor pool, hot tub and board games with plenty of seating. Very nice place, nice location, restaurants nearby."

"Newly updated and tastefully decorated. Bed was comfortable and enjoyed having a fireplace in the room. Will plan on staying there in the next trip. "

"This is an excellent property at a reasonable price. The location next to breathtaking coastal views is what these hotels offer. We really liked the shower at this one. Free parking. Everything was great. "

"The room itself was perfect and quaint. It had a lovely patio that overlooked to the ocean but the spa tub and the fireplace really set a wonderful mood for my partner and i. It was clean but a little odd that check in after 530pm had to be done at a nearby hotel a few yards down. Odd but was still easy to get out key and really wasn’t that big of a deal. Overall a great and lovely little stay. "

"My second time staying and it was very nice. But I was offered an “upgrade” for the same price as the sister hotel I booked. I took it thinking I was paying the same price as sea and sand but it was doubled. I didn’t feel it was an upgrade and it was misleading. We had to move to another hotel because the price was ridiculous. Staff as great though. "

"We’ve been coming to this place for over 25 years. We come back for the indoor pool. Appreciate the recent upgrades of laminate flooring. Also enjoy that it’s pet friendly and that they have a large open space to walk pets. Definitely coming back!"
