Large property with awesome views of the Pacific coast. Nearby Hearst Castle which is a must visit. Hwy closed off a little further north on Hwy 1 unfortunately.

The surroundings are beautiful and well tended. They are obviously in the middle of remodeling. Some units have been renewed, the older units need attention. Nothing major but necessary The staff was very solicitous. The food was excellent. We have hearty appetites and came away very satisfied every time.

Loved this place. So remote and beautiful. The room was spacious and the view outside was amazing. The bed was so comfortable. Check in was friendly as well as the restaurant staff. The grounds are well maintained and lots of places to walk around and take in the view. I've already made reservations to come back.

The views from this resort are phenomenal! We had a balcony from our room with a jaw dropping ocean view. Our room was lovely, clean, and very comfortable. The grounds of the property were beautiful with much opportunity to photograph nature. It also has conveniences of a restaurant, small store, gift shop, coffee & bakery, gas station, and walk up snack bar. Staff was very friendly as well. Another perk is a trail directly from the resort down to a black sand beach with a waterfall (although closed in February, probably due to rain & mud). We previously hiked this in the summer, so be aware it is very steep and not for beginners. We would definitely stay here again. Truly a gem!
