The shower room was close by and soley for our use. The host Alison was really lovely and knowledgable on the local area. The best bit was the peace and quiet and no light pollution. "Phil and Jan have created a lovely place to relax and enjoy. You feel like you are in the country but are right near anything you may need. The bed was comfortable, the shower was great, the sitting room was nice and the kitchen/dining room were filled with anything you would need for your stay. There are trails to walk both on and off the property. And you have easy access to any direction you want to go. The bonus is you get to spend time with Phil and Jan. "We had a terrific stay at the Bedford Lodge Hotel, it's a really beautiful property. The room was spacious and modern, with easy and lot's of parking. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and wasn't disappointed , great food and service. The breakfast was amazing, lot's of choice and lovely ingredients. Would definitely recommend for a special stay. "

"The owners were exceptionally accommodating to my requests and excellent with communication. The property presented exactly as the photos. My only suggestion would be a full length vanity mirror possibly hung/mounted on the front of one of the bedroom doors. Also a small lamp or standing lamp in the living room for a warmer ambiance. "My wife and I stayed overnight to meet up with family and have a meal together. The room was lovely, clean, and welcoming. Bathroom was modern and clean with good shower. The staff were very friendly and the service was great! We had a meal in the restaurant which was wonderful, the breakfast was equally as good! All in all a great stay and I can see us revisiting. "

"We staid in the Holm Oak Barn, this is a very roomy place. The bedrooms are quite large and have a plenty of root to maneuver around. There’s a bathtub in one room, a standing shower in another and a handicap bathroom in the master bedroom. The beds are comfortable and pleasant to sleep in. The kitchen has all the pots & pans you would need, with plenty of utensils. The location is certainly located to a few towns and makes it easy to run out for food and groceries.
