"We were so happy with the apartment and surrounding views. And when we met Pamela she made us feel so welcomed and comfortable.This is exactly what you want in a VRBO experience.The bedrooms were large and comfortable and the one bathroom is good sized and modern.We can’t wait to return to New Zealand and stay at this wonder first class accommodation again!It’s even better than advertised.20 minute easy walk to the lake and downtown.Thanks Pamela and Jeff for your gracious hospitality."

"I was a bit uneasy booking the property since I could only find 1 review but I thought let’s do it anyway. And boy, were we impressed! If we had more time we would have stayed longer! I didn’t know the guesthouse was actually situated on a winery before booking so this was a great surprise - definitely use this as a selling point! The area was beautiful! "With the Alpine Village complex in Albert Town just a few metres away, including a pub/takeaway place, bakery/cafe and liquor store there are already so many facilities on your doorstep. Wanaka itself is just a few minutes drive away so the unit is easy to access. Spotlessly clean and tidy, clear instructions re access and quiet at night so a perfect spot for us. The only small quibble was not being able to locate the television remote which we couldn't find anywhere?"

"The property was large, clean and spacious. But there were issues. The air-conditioning remote was lost and we couldn't get the a/c to work properly and my son got so hot we had to move his bed into the living area. Also, the apartment advertised access to an indoor pool but this was not communicated on check in or at the apartment, so not sure if this was real or not. Luckily the weather was nice and kids swam in the lake. "

"A lovely little studio apartment with decent space however it had a terrible odour we suspected from a pool of liquid in a defrosted small fridge on arrival which made our freshly washed clothes smell also. Thinking a previous person staying may have eaten fish? Anyways the smell didn’t go away so we packed up and left after only one night (we booked for two). I alerted the owner so hopefully it gets sorted. "
