The decorations, furnishings and appliances are similarly aged, but mostly functional, aside from the quirky doors and power circuitry that regularly trips the safety switches in the well concealed switch board. "Owner was very welcoming, unit was quiet and clean. Cleaned the heat pump filter as we noticed the heat pump was struggling to warm the unit, luckily it was the same model as we had at home so k ew how to remove and clean and replace the filters, worked perfectly after this was done"

"The photos are very old and it does not represent the house at all. The house was not legally setup with smoke alarms which we fixed within an hour of arriving. It was dirty, had carpet beetles eating at the master bedroom carpet, crockery and cutlery sticky and dirty in a dirty kitchen, broken chair in the living area, vinyl in bathroom broken and old so floor cannot be adequate sanitised/cleaned. The heat pump had not been cleaned in a very long time so it did not work, so we had to vacuum it...

"The property is beautiful, many varied gardens to explore/ relax in. Gill and Noel provided many thoughtful touches to elevate the comfort of our stay, including home baking, walnuts from the property, daily cleaning service and even the offer to drive us to a local restaurant. The property is on a lifestyle block that has friendly sheep and great views of the sunrise/sunset from the hill through the gate. We highly recommend this accommodation. "
