"This is the first time we have been disappointed in a VRBO rental. I assumed that apartments had to comply with a check list of required items but apparently that is not true. The kitchen lacked a microwave, a toaster, a coffee maker (one larger than the smallest stove top espresso maker), bread knife and cutting board, paper towel, hot pads, and the list could go on. "The photos and descriptions of the charming apartment are very accurate. The floor to ceiling windows lookout over a beautiful park and the apartment is very spacious. It’s a good location for walking the city to historical sites and restaurants and shopping. The host ombretta is a charming woman who has lived there all her life and made us feel very welcome. She made the whole visit special. "

"Staying at Corte Stellata was wonderful. Emanuela, Gabrielle and Sophia were welcoming and helpful hosts. The apartment was beautifully appointed, clean and restful. It’s close proximity to Ferrara made it easy to see the historical highlights there, while it’s location in a rural village lent an authentic feel to our visit. Walking on the rural roads and dike along the Po was safe and easy. A lovely retreat!"
